Cagliari airport “Mario Mameli” is located in Elmas, a small town about 10 km from the chief town and about an hour from the hostel. It is connected to the national and european airports by different airlines. There are links from Cagliari with the major italian cities such as Milan, Bologna, Rome, Naples, Palermo, etc. Among abroad flights: Madrid, Girona, Monaco, Colonia, Parigi.

There is a shuttle bus that connects Cagliari airport with the centre of the city, precisely in Matteotti square at the ARST (Azienda Regionale Sarda Trasporti) bus terminus about 50 meters from the railway station and near the port.
